During Thanksgiving, avoid the temptation of giving your pet a bone.  Turkey and chicken bones are very different from the large bones you find at the pet store.  These small cooked bones splinter easily and can cause internal damage if swallowed.  Also beware of hot containers.  Your dog or cat will most likely become curious when they smell something delicious cooking.  Keep an eye on hot dishes so that your pet does not tip them over and get burned.
